Skirting Board
A skirting board, also known as a baseboard, is a narrow strip of wood, plastic, or other material that is attached to the lower portion of a wall. It is used to cover the gap between the wall and the floor and to protect the wall from damage. Skirting boards are typically installed at the base of walls in homes, offices, and other buildings and are available in a wide range of styles and materials to match the decor of the room. They can be simple and functional, or they can be decorative and ornate. Skirting boards are usually installed by attaching them to the wall with nails or screws, and they can be painted or stained to match the wall or floor. In addition to their decorative and protective function, skirting boards also help to hide any imperfections or unevenness at the base of the wall.
